This is one example of using IP tables (Wikipedia, Tutorial) on the router to redirect packets to a gateway/proxy (such as Squid), when connected to the wireless on the airport/home etc. The interesting thing (for me) about the post, was the use of DHCP ranges so as to give a different experience of the internet to a certain section of people. Useful to note for future i thought.
